
Goal-Based Hypnosis
Goal-Based Hypnosis is a therapeutic technique designed to help individuals achieve specific personal or professional objectives. This approach uses the principles of hypnosis to create a focused and heightened state of awareness where individuals are more open to positive suggestions. The process starts with an initial consultation where you discuss your specific goals with me. These goals can include things like weight loss, quitting smoking, reducing stress, boosting self-confidence, or improving performance in various areas such as sports, academics, or your career. I will then guide you into a deeply relaxed state. Techniques such as deep breathing, progressive muscle relaxation, or guided imagery are used to help calm your conscious mind and access your subconscious mind, where your behavior patterns and beliefs are deeply rooted. While you are in this relaxed, focused state, I will provide positive suggestions and imagery specifically tailored to your goals. These suggestions aim to reshape negative thought patterns, reinforce desired behaviors, and motivate you toward achieving your objectives. Before ending the session, I may give you post-hypnotic suggestions that will continue to influence your behavior and mindset after the session is over. These suggestions help maintain your motivation and reinforce the progress you’ve made.

Goal-Based Hypnosis typically involves multiple sessions. Each session builds on the previous one, where we will adjust techniques and suggestions based on your progress. Follow-up sessions help reinforce positive changes and address any new challenges that come up.

What To Expect From A Session?
A normal session on average is about one to three hours and is broken up into three parts: The interview, the hypnosis, and the post-session interview.

The Interview (30 minutes +)

The interview usually lasts about 30 minutes. This will be a conversation about your current life and what you want to accomplish through hypnosis.

The Hypnosis (1 hour +)

The hypnosis itself typically lasts an hour. I will guide you into a meditative state, and once there, I will implant positive reinforcement to meet your goals.

The Post-Session Interview (30 minutes +)

The Post-Session interview usually lasts about 30 minutes. This is where we will debrief and speak about your hypnosis session. The time spent here will allow you to digest what you experienced during the hypnosis. You will get to ask any questions you have about it at this time. But most importantly it will give you time to regain complete consciousness before leaving the office. Safety is paramount in this experience.

All Goal-Based Hypnosis sessions are conducted in-person in my office in Canton, Ohio. Each session is $150.
